budget calendar, House Bill 1147, the Secretary of State, and House Bill 1246 for Rich Mountain. Do we have any questions, or would anyone like to pull those out from the batch? We're going to vote those just as a batch to keep having to call everyone's name twice. All right, seeing none.
they say the fix was for presenting an ID for a grantor or a grantee that was not an individual?
this though, so not all grantors, grantees are individuals and so they don't have ID's. They're most often going to be an LLC or an incorporated entity of some kind or a trust or a revocable trust or lots and lots of things that do not have ID's because they're not individuals. But the way this reads, I think, unless I'm misunderstanding something, there's not some provision which would allow for something different to happen for a non-individual entity.
for a question. So when I was reading through this, it's the requirement of a driver's license to be presented by the grantor or the grantee. One of the two has to be present unless it's being done by an attorney, a real estate professional, or a broker agent, a bank, mortgage company, lending institution, title agent, or commissioner of state lands. When I read
we were looking at is if you look in just the progress uh quarterly report and you flip over and any one of these projects you see a contract bid amount that would have been the starting amount and the second amount would be the current contract amount and you know there was usually a difference between those two and my understanding the report that they're presenting that that those amounts actually over time the difference between those two washes out and so that there's actually if you just did five years it would have been an 8.3 million dollar difference between the contract bid amount and the actual contract amount that was paid. Correct. Thank you. Any other questions?
i think that i appreciate also the information on page five where you've outlined all the different funding sources that are available to those do you know the impact to the medicaid budget by chance or what the current spend is for this category within medicaid
they're trying to employ um I mean they have to have a full-time nurse you know right for someone who is in a wheelchair and um but that is completely really unresponsive I mean it's so I I do understand this and actually I've heard from some of my schools like I said on the flip side of this where they've not been able to really keep up with the true cost of providing the actually care that they are required by law to to provide for those students so i do appreciate it
question. Thank you. Sorry, it's me. I switched seats. No, I appreciate the rule. I've heard from my schools, actually, that do have those higher catastrophic cases where, you know, they struggle to pay for what
I mean, if you're – I mean, at some point, your actions become part of the contract too, typically. That
today. I just think it would be helpful for the discussion that we're having to know what happened, what the expectations are, and then what changed. Does that make
Which is typically how it goes in most instances.
Thank you, sir. Senator Dizbank. Is it possible to get a copy of the statement on this lease when
it was, I don't know if it was XTO or who had it prior to? I would be curious to see how they treated the 1-8th in their payment schedule, if that makes sense.
Net proceeds. Because I don't think anyone's going to argue about the bills needing to have more detail. No one's going to fight about that. I don't think y'all would either. What we're arguing about is net proceeds. So what's different in this than what the courts have determined it
difference between what they're trying to put in statute, the House members trying to put in statute, and in what has been the reasonably understood by the courts to be the definition of, I mean, what we're here for, right?
How do you think that this definition differs from? What do you mean this definition? The one that's being established by statute. That's why you're here. Yeah. Well, this definition is completely created by them to do what they want to
do. How does it differ from the court case determined, you know, reasonably used definition that's just normal? How does
Okay. But it's not defined by statute. It's not defined in the statute itself. It's defined by court cases. I would agree with that. That's a fair. Okay, and so there's been another interpretation by a later court case, or are they relying solely on
I'm trying to keep it short.
A new company comes in. They decide that net proceeds, definitions not established. So they've now set legal precedents for what that means. Is that fair? I don't
