Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026.
Said in Committee collects as little about you as it can. We count visits in aggregate, without cookies, and use no advertising trackers. We don't sell or share your information for marketing.
If you just search
You don't need an account to search, read meeting pages, or download transcripts. We don't set tracking cookies. Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us page-view and performance counts; it sets no cookies and does not build a profile of you.
If you create an account
We store:
- Login details: your username, email address, and a one-way hash of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Your alerts and bill follows: the keywords, committees, and bills you watch, the matches found for them, and the delivery address you give for notifications. That address can contain an email address or a private webhook link. We use it only to send your alerts.
- Team membership: which organization you belong to and your role in it. Other members of your organization can see shared alerts and the member list.
- Corrections you submit, such as a report that a speaker was misidentified, with the account that sent it.
- Plan details: your plan, its status and end date, and the customer and subscription IDs from our payment processor.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. Stripe's use of your information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one to keep you signed in and one that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. There are no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
Who else handles your information
- Cloudflare carries traffic to the site, counts visits for us without cookies, and sends our emails.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Stripe, only if you buy a plan.
- Sentry receives reports when the site has an error, so we can fix it. Those reports leave out IP addresses, cookies, and account details.
We don't otherwise share your information unless the law requires it.
People in the recordings
The meetings we index are public proceedings of the Arkansas General Assembly. They include legislators, staff, and members of the public who testified. Speaker names are partly automatic and can be wrong. If you appear in a recording and a name or transcript is wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
Storage and retention
Our servers and backups are in the United States. We keep account data while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and your alerts, and the deletion reaches our backups as they rotate out.
Your choices
You can see and change your alerts at any time, and ask us for a copy of your account data or for its deletion. Write to [email protected].
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll post it here and email account holders before it takes effect.
