Chair sees a quorum, and so we'll call the meeting to order. First matter is to approve the minutes of the last meeting on May 21st, 2025. Do I? I've got a motion. You got a second. Any discussion? All in favor say aye. Aye. Any opposed?
Item C is consideration of legislative facility needs. Jill, is that you? So at your
Speaker 4

last meeting, you all asked the Bureau to reach out to the Division of Building Authority and
Speaker 6
0:45
the Secretary of State regarding renovation of the committee rooms. We did that. Both of them made a recommendation that an architect be contracted with. And so the matter that's in front of the committee now is the transfer of the funds from the Bureau line item to the Senate for moving forward with those renovations

are going to be made the purpose of the transfer is to secure an architect that would come in and help establish the processes and also give us
guidance as to how we can reconfigure the room what all is going to go into it it is a historical building and so retaining an architect and this architect has done or there's work been done before so this is just the individual is going to take all the ideas constructed into a recommendation that we would approve later this is just getting the money from point a to point b so we can proceed and go from there is that is that accurate all right representative Dalby go ahead oh cut you off sorry about that
come on this board are you sure is it hot all
