and wooden pages one through fifty six this act this you'll find this bill on page nineteen of the B. packet pages one through fifty six these lists the classifications to be authorized in the bill is included opted title in great changes are approved in the fall hearings in that are included in the current appropriation bills for the agencies. The first change this bill can be found on page fifty six line twenty three. The entry level salary for the pay grade of GS one was increased from twenty two thousand dollars to twenty two
thousand eight hundred eighty dollars to meet the eleven dollar per hour minimum wage that was established in January first. The second change can be found on page fifty seven on lines eleven through fourteen this change allows OPM to establish a salary above the maximum of the grade for specialized physician positions after approval by a seer JBC this is similar to what is already allowed in code for secretary's department secretaries. on page fifty seven lines twenty four through twenty eight this language requires agencies to submit a request OPM for approval if they want to allow an employee who has been demoted to not receive a ten percent decrease in pay language also allows employees to voluntarily take more than a ten percent decrease in pay.
