President Cavenaugh you're recognized thank you Mr chair this is really for staff Kathy when they bring a contract over and I'm just gonna say example number eight it says revised scope it performance indicators and like changes in the rate and it doesn't really and just the amount. Are we do they bring those back the next month for the increase that the change would bring. These contracts that there's no dollar amount change now we have the program we're if they're the same amount there's no material change and no dollar amount and it's been reviewed by this committee it can be reported to the committee in a report later out but these contracts that or have a rate change or of some kind of scope change even though the amount that they're going to that funding does not need to change now or even in the near future it's reported to the it it's shown as a review item for the committee okay so when they do it like this we should be expecting another amendment to it to raise it because of the same issues. I would not anticipate that are thank you usually the a lot of this had that had to do with COVID and changing some rights And just making adjustments in in those documents and report and providing to the Committee. Senator Elliot you're recognized. Thank you Mr chairman my question is for the department of education Number four on page seven. If you would state your names for the record please. Sherri Bayard program manager student assessment. Greg Rogers former education. You're recognized center thank you Mr chair my question is has a lot to do with a C. under the exclamation nabi ons was bought out by power school holdings is this the normal procedure when something gets bought out that it is just naturally subsumed into the buyer's contract without any further scrutiny or is there scrutiny before we just allow it to be a part of the the. Person who's buying out the contract. So in this situation there was a change in the scope for the many other contract was just the obvious contract that we already have a spot out of power school so in this instance we are just doing it as a new contract under the same conditions at nabi ons was working on with power school for the divisional for three years that we have on there so I guess I could assume that were not what I want to be sure is we are somebody is buying it out who can actually deliver the same services and there is some scrutiny given to yes it's got to be reviewed or yeah they will be held to the same pieces that were in the RF peas of the product is the same they still have to meet the training requirements you know checking in with their schools those types of things everything that was on the original order of P. they're bound to okay that's in in cases working just fine for somebody does not is not able to meet that same requirement what happens and what for another bit or something or what what what happens. You don't have to worry about that right now because it this is okay I just if I weren't able to to to continue it when continue the contract with them it will yes ma'am and able to to continue with the original RP was accepted under the conditions of that it wouldn't of continue to contract okay all right think that's all I need to know Tom. Thank you messages. Saying no more questions these items will stand review.
