In the third or fourth year L. in front of us I don't think that we're looking for financial distress I think the concern is there's several unknowns in regards to expenditures in particular for corrections and the learns act that would both which passes I think there's a desire to to make sure we control our expenses expenditures in the current day which we have control over so we can prep for those future years in the announce. So are we are we saying that the orange may cost more than we thought it was going to cost is that what we're saying no Sir because it can't cost more because there is a provision in the bill that was added that says that it would only be funded ask funds are made available so we cannot get ahead of ourselves with the way that the bill was was drafted But but corrections is a big announcmenet and what I mean by that is in regards to sentencing reform and that that will most likely it in year three definitely does not have any impact on your one thank you Mr thank you thank you. Mr just to clarify your bill your stay on the floor had automatic trigger to be funded twenty five twenty six which is Sameer is a large bill kicks in its full entirety the bill was also depending on a pool from four million dollars from the Medicaid trust fund it they were minute to for for the soda tax so that is the pretense behind a conversation that was referred to by representative Wooten so it wasn't this physical year that it was going to hit it was a fiscal year twenty five twenty six which was the same year that the full impact of learned bill hits that was a printed. Just quick question are raising these grades up on these positions and they're raising the medical contracts is that within the moneys they have today so they're not we're not putting new monies and none of this no we are in our say there was a forty million dollar increase for corrections and that was for this because those medical contracts during council last fall were held up because the amounts they came to so is this increasing those amounts or is this matching those amounts that were from last fall and I and I had staff come over they got the same time so yeah I know I don't think we finalized anything on the contract at this point. Do you remember it was a big deal so saw this I thought we probably are discuss it. You're someone from the Department once rex and come in a. As miss Wallace's government area. P. related to the medical contract at this time it's still pending the Secretary is evaluating all those options I will say this increase is in line with the annual cost of increase that we have seen over the life of the existing RFE so it matches kind of the increase why we haven't finalized the R. F. P. we expect there to be an annual increase and so that's what that twenty million additional funds encompasses is it cost us any extra money right now because we're outside of that contract window that did not get approved last year so they charge us anymore than they normally would or what's that word so we're still ended the ten year time frame within the existing medical contract that will expire at the end of the fiscal year The secretary may at some point determined that he wants to engage the current vendor to continue while we're working out the specifics of an on and of a renewal not a renewal and new medical contract okay thank you thank you Mr. You're welcome members with any other questions on go the governor's letter twenty seven.
