Glad to do it. Okay, Representative Meeks, you're recognized

to present your resolution. Okay, the first one is on the UCA football team, and we've already had some of the UAPB football team come down, and the ASU football team. Well, UCA's football team has done a wonderful job under coach Clint Conk. They have gone to the playoffs.
And, yeah, I know it's, like, different because we're used to going to the GoDaddy.com bowl or the Papa John's Pizza Bowl or whatever bowl it is. But proud of UCA because in the division that they're in in Division I, they actually get to go to the playoffs, and it's a high honor to be able to do that. Just very few teams are chosen. But not only did they go to the playoffs, They also won the Southland Conference Championship for the first time in team history as well. So we're proud of that. And not only that, the academic as well, you know, they've done
some good academic things as well on top of all the things that they have done. So with that said, I am finished with my presentation. Okay. Are there any questions from

the committee? Representative Bain, you're recognized. Information. Do we have an amendment that we

and it's already been done. Thank you. Representative Alexander, you're recognized. Motion at the proper
time. Okay. Are there any other questions from the committee?
Is there anyone in the audience who'd like to speak for or against the resolution? If not, Representative Alexander, you're recognized for your motion. I move, do pass. The motion is do pass. Is there any discussion? If not, all in favor say aye. Aye. All opposed, nay. Congratulations, Representative Meeks. You have passed your resolution. Thank you. Welcome. Representative Meeks, you're recognized to present your other resolution.

This one is on the volleyball team. Once again, they did some amazing things this past season.
They went to the NCAA Division I tournament. We're talking about, you know, this is like the March Madness of volleyball. So it was a very big deal. And, again, this was the first time that they accomplished that. They won the Southland Conference Championship, was one of just a few teams to win 30 games in a season. And so we're very proud of, again, their accomplishments, not only on the court, but also in the classroom as well. Some of them won some academic awards as well.
So we're very proud of the U.C. volleyball team and what they've done. So that'll take questions or
comments. Thank you. Okay. I see Representative Payton. Do you have a question?

Thank you, Mr. Chair. Representative Meeks, I see that the mascot is not with you. Is he sick or in hibernation? He's probably in hibernation
Speaker 4

right now. I think he might be recovering. They did a Harlem shake last night in the Ferris Center, so he might be recovering from that. But I hope to have him here when we actually present the resolution on the House floor, hopefully next week.
Any other questions from the committee? Is there anyone in the audience who'd like to speak for against the resolution? If not, the chair will

entertain a motion. Move do pass. Where did that come
from? I'm sorry. Oh, Representative Alexander has moved that we do pass. Is there any discussion? If not, all in favor say aye. Aye. All oppose, nay. Congratulations, Representative Meeks. You have passed your resolution. Oh, it's okay.
