We passed it out February 7th, it got lost in the Senate. In the meantime, when I found it, it also needed to be amended the same way Senator Hammer's bill was amended. This allows volunteer fire departments that are within city limits. They operate under different law than the rural volunteer fire departments through a petition to put their fire department dues on the property tax bill, which is mandatory, would be mandatory if they do it. And the amendment that I put on it, which brought it back here, would be that if it's over $100, the city council would have to approve it. So this bill basically does with the

volunteer fire departments what Senator Hammer's bill did with city fire departments? What his did with the fire districts. Well, I meant fire districts. Yes.

It does the same thing. Puts it in with your property taxes. Yes. All right. Any questions from committee members?
