Good afternoon actually had send the house district seventy five I am here today with resolution ten forty eight which is to recognize and congratulate the plastic academy boys and girls tennis teams on there are five basic championship lan these teams have worked really hard they have had multiple winds at the state level in the five a league so much so that they are being moved to six a next year and particularly proud of this team because my daughter we see is a member of the starting line up for the girls team that one state so I would appreciate a good boat happy to answer any questions any questions from the committee what's the will the committee got a motion to pass all in favor say alright thank you representative thank you committee. John ryan rose district forty eight vampire and fort smith thank you for let me run this resolution here today this is HR ten fifty four to recognize the vampire in high school pointers wrestling team for winning the twenty three twenty four class five e state wrestling championship and the class five a dual state wrestling championship they won the state championship with a hundred and seventy three points out pacing second place who had forty three points. And this will be the third consecutive class five a state ressing championship for vampire and it'll also be the third dual state championship which means six eight championships in three years for this wrestling program be open any questions and would appreciate a good vote. To expose my ignorance what is the dual the difference between the dual state championship in the regular state championship so as I understand it and this is kind of a parallel resolution to send her petty who represents a you know vampire and is well so this is a resolution run parallel to them in the senate I believe that this is. So i'm here today to recognize the highland high school orchestra band for their state championship twenty three twenty four year and some little bit special about this is they want the inaugural. State championship for high school band orchestra which is great first year they had it they want it. Based on the new rules that they in you know that they had they were not allowed to compete in and for this state chambership the following year they had to sit out a year so after sitting out a year they decided to come back in when this again and defender their title and this is the the time that they did that and it was a it's great to be able to recognize them for winning I guess back to back even though he had sit out a year and hopefully you know really like to recognize how bruno gregbrooner and a faith server there at there that the home and they were in their naval year as well and I hope to continue to see them influence young people for for times to go. Of rally asked as great place second and twenty twenty three girls singles and east points at county high school band program had multiple conference within twenty twenty three which includes. Music and asulatives which is something that you don't see a whole lot of. But they performed it one more state and a little rock for the twenty twenty three two a football state championship also the region five concert assessment for the band's concert performance in. And reading performance at the general high school performing hours. Oh. I really am proud of these folks. I really am it's not a very big school. Repeatedly going but I have done a lot of great things in it what are loved about is the diversity between the ladies and the man and the football basketball and the man so. You are recognized. So this is on the proposal for the offices over there and one one piece of new information is a tough. Actually text back and forth with a and light allow it to build an authority. And. So they have extended our. Lower price if you were on the ramp for it. Up to eight years. In actually what they're doing is. The. Just discounting what we could end to the bill and all for the ramp so. It's just come a swap out. Because when we get if we were to move out the body was to move out at some point in the future all the improvements that we've done what of course day with the building so. I thought it was referring to the state contract in general but. The state contract priced they give there they give the regular price the state contract price and then the negotiated price off of. After that. So I was so assumed there was the. State contract price. In that. Particular contract number there and i'm not trying to hold them i'm just curious that if because if we don't have anything because the which you gave us and I appreciate what you gave us because it kind of tells us an idea where the funds are going but what I was looking for was something to give us a little more granular view of it and that's why I was asking about the contract agreement number so I would assume that was. Some kind of contract it was created but you from what I understand you're saying is that's not necessarily the case we are written on the agreement or the contract after we approve it in here. And I would appeal to the speaker and bands to answer that I don't think I mean there hasn't been any contract presented what I what and I don't know but what that may be is. Evo apparently has some type of contract. Agreement with the state that when they sell the state they they're certain prices that have already been agreed to in my. I don't know for sure but what I would suspect is that that is that agreement between evo and state where those prices are memorialized and so when when they quoted or gave us an estimate of a quote. They look back at what is already been approved with the state and that is the state contract pricing in then on top of that they want to hit and gave us an additional reduction to give to bring it down to that state contract negotiated level pricing because they went back to the manufacturer my recollection as they went back to the manufacturer and said. Can we give a little more on this. Out because of the mean the size of the job and you know them trying to put their best foot forward okay and then my the other part mister can correct me from wrong but we're also getting essentially a credit or a payment for five hundred thousand dollars that from the secretary of state so that that would go towards uh these items as well so that that total price of. Two point three we're going to get some additional fines around over five hundred thousand that can help to offset that. And then I think mister ragman those they talked about. Uh some of the savings it's generated by as handling at ourselves as opposed to just relying on the building at the. So there will be approving. So will be just approved and one point eight basically because we're getting five hundred from the secretary of state. If approval is right I don't know the destinate terminology I think I think that's right that okay it would be approving to to. You know i've we moved forward based on this information with the understanding that there is going to be five hundred thousand dollars that will be applied to this that is coming to secretary state so. In in not that I don't believe that that's no happen right do we have that in writing that the kid they're going to credit us that five hundred thousand towards well we're going to get a check from there. From sector of state so what we're going to do is we're going to take the sector states five hundred thousand. We paid to evo we're going to take for whites layer. And pay yet. In this fiscal year. And then at the end. Of the construction will pay the r o there are half but what's that about eight while that be about eight hundred fifty thousand. When it's complete.
