In the name of Jesus Christ, amen. Thank you, Representative Brown. I want to take a second and recognize we've got a bunch of interns out here that are working with our joint audit staff. If you'd all give them a big round of applause. We are glad you're here. It's always nice to see young people interested in seeing how things actually work and doing the work that happens day to day. So thank you for being here. I need a motion to adopt the minutes from our March 12th meeting.
We've got a motion and a second. Any conversation, any questions? Hearing none, all those in favor of the motion say aye. Opposed, same sign. Very good, thank you. Okay, we are going to pass over the special report
from the Health Department until our August meeting. And, Tom, if you would give a review of our other reports. Okay. Thank you, Mr. Chair. And since

we're deferring that special report, we've got one report today with findings that we're going to present, but we also have 12 reports without findings that are listed on starting on page one of the audit summary.

Thank you, Mr. Burlington. If there's no objection, we will file those reports. Hearing none. Okay,

the report that we have today with findings is the Department of Finance Administration FY24 report, and this report contains three findings. The first finding, the EAC notified us on September 22, 2023, that a taser was stolen from the Alcohol Beverage Control Enforcement Division. According to the police report, the market value of this item was about $1,300, and this finding was referred to the project attorney and the Attorney General.
The second finding, the EAC also notified us in February 2025 of another loss of public funds. After a review of federal grant awards disbursed to the Family Services Agency, the Office of Intergovernmental Services identified numerous expenditures that should have been disallowed before disbursement. The agency reduced a later request for reimbursement of the disallowed amounts, and the Family Services Agency reimbursed the agency almost $5,500 for the remainder of the disallowed amounts on April 28, 2025.
In the third finding, the agency also notified us in June of 2025 of unauthorized debits occurring in one of their bank accounts. Nine unauthorized transactions totaling over $5,600 occurred in a bank account at DFA Revenue from April through July of 2025. The AC was refunded over $5,400 of the unauthorized debits,

leaving about $200 outstanding. Mr. Chair, that concludes the findings for DFA. Thank you, sir.
