you, Mr. Chairman, committee, uh, Senate bill. A 4:11, uh, let me kind of give you what's happened here. I don't know if you've heard of squatters trucks or not. The first time I heard somebody say squatter's truck. I thought it was big rigs that they were left somewhere and somebody had moved in them and just, yeah, I didn't realize what it was, but what, what squatter's trucks are are are they're lowering the back of the truck so low and the the front of the truck is so high that the headlights are shining up into the to the uh up above the other cars. Um, there's, there's two real big problems with that, of course, you know, you, you all know that that trucks can only be a certain height. Now some of you may remember this, some of you may not in the old days when they inspected your car, the headlights had to be a certain distance for you to even pass inspection, so, uh, that's one of the problems, so because, because they're not shining head and the other problem is it sets up so high in the front if something's right in front of the vehicle, they cannot see it. Uh, so originally we had this, this drafted to uh. To measure the bumper in the front and measure the bumper in the back, uh, that was our original intent, but then we looked at some other states and what happened when they did that. All they did was just move the bumper on the vehicles and they still had the squatter's problems so if you look in section 2, it says the suspension frame or chassis of the motor vehicle has been modified by any means to cause the height of the front bumper motor vehicles be at least 4 inches in height, greater, uh, height. of the rear bumper of the motor vehicle. That's, that's an offense. So 4 inches from the frame, uh, from the back to the top. His back's basically what it does and it is uh this is supported by the state police and I don't know of any opposition, uh, and anyway, that, that's it in a nutshell, pretty short Bill.

District 33. Yeah, uh, Representative Shepherd asked me this morning he's tied up. I don't know if I could run this bill, uh. And for Mr. Shane Corey, and I told him I would all this bill does, uh, the electric vehicle infrastructure grant program never was funded, uh, money never made it to the E&E, so, uh. Uh, to energy and environment, and they're just all this bill does is strike out all the language and strikes that program real simple. OK, thank you. Any questions from the committee? Anyone here to

speak for or against the bill? Seeing none, represented Milligan. Uh, I am closed and make a motion to do pass. Have a motion to be do pass any discussion on the motion. All in favor say aye. And he opposes same like sign hearing none. Congratulations, passes. Uh, I see no one else here to run the bills that we have on the table, so is there any other business to come before this committee today. Committee, we will meet Thursday briefly, uh, probably be our last meeting Thursday. Uh, we don't have time if anyone brings any bills after that to get them through on the Senate in this end. So with that we stand a journ.
