good morning everybody we're we're gonna get started here so item number one is a consideration of a motion to approve the August 13,2026 minutes anybody have any questions concerns about those ing un can I have a motion to approve them? OK I've got a motion to approve them. Do I have a second? I've got a motion. I've got a second all in favor say aye any opposed motion carries item number Cs discussion on annual reports submitted to the general assembly. you should have the report in front of you does anyone have any questions comments or concerns that they'd like to discuss on the report yes ma'am I have an addition maybe that

I would like to mention to add to the report we are the administrative entity for the autism waiver for the state and we have 180 slots for the state and it's a three year limited program so we turn those relatively quickly because kids come in and come out but right now we have 148 children on the waiting list and another536 where families are actively completing their applications for the program so I would like for it to to state specifically that it when funds become available to DHS that this could be added to the list as a priority and we lost 56 kids in July and August who turned5, which meant they aged out on our waiting list before they could get a slot and that's just really that's really hard for families when they call every week and say where I'm on the list where I'm on the list and then we end up having to say I'm sorry you can't get in because you've turned5. So I would love for that to be if the group agrees since the autism waiver sort of came out of this body originally I'd love for the group to consider you know adding that as a priority at some point when the state has funds to be able to do that thank you all right anybody have discussion on that

OK so I'm gonna take that as a motion do I have a second on that motion? OK, I've got a motion and I've got a second. all in favor of adding that to their report sayy aye any opposed motion carries that will be added to the report OK so without objection we well first of all any other discussion that we need to have before we we move on seeing none without objection then we will adopt the report as amended. so hearing no objections the report is adopted and our just to discuss Miss Washington and I talked about we would probably have one more meeting before the end of the year most likely November, we need to clarify if it's gonna be on autism week or if it's gonna be on legislative council week of course we'd have to getpresentative Eaves's approval to have it on you know council week but feel pretty confident we could so be on the lookout for that what I would anticipate the primary thing would be is seeing if we you know draft some of this legislation and you know have give people an opportunity to have some input publicly on on that that's what I would anticipate the the agenda would look like so the only other thing I wanna say is if you have input I would get withpresentative innnett as soon as possible so that we can start drafting taking ideas and putting them into the legislative format Representative innnett, what comments do you have? thank you senator Boyd I

echo what senator Boyd just said if we have any other things that we want to discuss towards the end of the year let me know so we can get on the agenda if there's some subject matter that we haven't touched on yet just let me know so we can find somebody to come in and speak to us about that and I want to thank everybody for being here and putting up with me and I'm sorry if I messed up some of the procedures earlier but it's a learning process and I want to thank everybody for being here it's been a highlight of my year. thank you. thank you and with that we are adjourned
