you just got it yep all right thank
you thank you madam chair so since OPm is at the table just a related question to personnel. so on the audit committee over
the the last couple of weeks we've had a couple incidences where there have been emails sent to change employee bank records and OPm has processed those and it's allowed for fraudulent activity to take place Basically people are spoofing our employees so I see you're nodding your head. it sounds like you're familiar with the issue can you give us an update on where you're at on making sure we're protecting our employees from that happening in the future
Speaker 14
4:29
Yep, you're recognized thank you yes sir we are aware of that unfortunately it has happened twice to my knowledge one atarks of tourism and one at another department you know recently we have centralized payroll activities and we're now doing all payroll activities at OPm versus at the various departments anytime we are implementing methods to validate anytime we get a change of bank account information. it's also important to know what the new Sparhana system employees themselves can go in and change their
banking account information so we shouldn't be the employees should be doing that in most cases versus us actually getting the requests. So when we get
Speaker 17
5:07
the request we're gonna be calling back to make sure that this is a legitimate request stats of that point thank you I appreciate that all right
any other questions? see none and no other business this meeting is adjourned.
