Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Before we pray, I just wanted to say that a devotional I read this morning talked about a preacher who got a part in a play. He said he was ready for his lines. It was one line. And then he talked about how he had a part in that play. Today, we have a part to play, and so let us pray for that part. Gracious God, we thank you for a wonderful day, a wonderful spring day, a new month before us. we know that as we read that devotional today that we have a part to play in the history of Arkansas give us glory today give us wisdom, give us vision help us to play the part that would please

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Ladies and gentlemen of this distinguished body, I have the privilege of standing before you and ask you to favorably vote this memorial resolution into the permanent records of this state in recognition of an icon from Selene County and specifically from the district that I represent, a man whose reputation precedes him. But I want to know three qualities about this individual. And first of all, I'd like to recognize, if I may, Mr. Speaker, his family that's with us today.

Yeah, if you would, please recognize them. The family is my representative. Land it out. Thank you all for

being with us today. Joining us today is his wife, Ms. Lee Landers, and his daughter, Jonelle. The three qualities I want to recommend and mention about Mr. Landers are the first fact that he was married for 60 years to Ms. Landers before the Lord called him home. That within itself is something of noteworthiness. Second of all, that he was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, Arkansas, a member for a lifetime at one church. But third is the fact that he served in this house for 32 years, 32 years serving as Speaker of the House a portion of that time. Mr. Lacey Landers, when his name is spoken in Saline County and in Benton, draws the highest respect and the utmost consideration. And I would consider a personal privilege, if you would, to please adopt this memorial resolution that he may long live in the books of this great house, as well as his reputation and memory that will live till the Lord comes back. And I move for

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. This amendment deletes the special language that we added in here yesterday, which delayed the effective date of Act 1058 of 2011, which exempts trailers and some tractors from sales and use taxes by one year. I would appreciate a good vote. Members, I have an explanation of

Mr. Speaker. This is in the Secretary of State's Appropriation Bill. It deletes Sections 14 and 15 from the bill. These were the sections that are concerning statutory foreclosures, and it returns the emergency clause to the standard emergency clause, effective July 1st, 2012. It's what we passed in joint budget today. I'd appreciate a good vote. Thank you. Members, our next motion to
