John Payne is going to have that bill, and he is not here. He's in his organizational meeting this morning, so he's not going
to be here. Great. Thank you. All right, next on the agenda is House Bill 1014, Representative Harris. He's going to have that to the deferred list. Next, House Bill 1020, Representative Jett. You ready, Representative? Yes, sir.

Representative Jett, you're recognized. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I appreciate the opportunity to be here, members, this morning. I'm running House Bill 1020 this morning, and it pertains to recreational use for landowners that allows for general aviation to land at their airstrips. House Bill 1020 provides limited liability protection for landowners and existing recreational
state statutes. Pilots still have to ask permission to land at their property. This project is the landowner has to give permission for the pilots to land there. and I'll be happy to offer any. If you guys ask me questions, I'll try to answer them.
No questions? It's a pleasure of the committee. Got a due pass? Thank you. All in favor? Aye. All opposed? Looks like the eyes have it. Congratulations, Mr. Jett. Thank you. That's all we have for today.
Mr. Ralston here is going to go over a couple

things with us real quick. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Before everybody takes off, we want to do a little professional education, which you should have in front of you a sheet at your workstation that is the easy log-on instructions for the tablets. We're going to teach you all not only – we're not only going to give you a fish, we're going to teach you how to catch a fish.
And so what I need you to do is we're going to start with the, if you go down to the paragraph when meeting adjourns, what we're going to do is we're going to shut these things down, and then we're going to restart them again. I'm going to kind of walk you through that so that you'll be able to start your own tablets from now on. You'll go down to when meeting adjourns. If everybody's got their stylus, you know what I'm talking about? Okay, everybody's got it.
The start button is down on your bottom left of your screen. And if you will click that, and you'll see a shutdown button. Everybody see that? You hit the start button, and you'll see shutdown. It's down at the bottom. And what I want you to do
Speaker 14
3:36
is click on switch user. Does everybody see that?
Speaker 22
4:10
Is that working for everybody? Okay. I want them to switch user. Okay, and it should go to a, basically to a log on screen, I think. Well, yeah, we'll do that. When we log it back on, we'll do that.
Speaker 24
4:48
Gotcha. Yeah, it's probably a good idea. You're out of order.
Speaker 22
5:33
Are you having trouble finding it, getting it? are you I think I'm all right okay did you we're gonna show as soon as as soon as they get to that control delete
thing right now I don't you wanted me to
Speaker 22
5:49
get to switch user yeah you need to go down here okay go to shut down click
Speaker 33
5:55

Speaker 39
6:03
It's okay. We'll get you back on. That's fine. Thank you. Thank you.
Speaker 23

It is top left. It's a flat, silver button.
Speaker 12

Judy, how are we looking? Good. I think we're setting the curve here for the A-cabitties. And the next step that I want you to take, at the top, if you haven't already, if we haven't already done it as I've walked around and Judy's walked around there is a button at the top left of your tablet it's on the top left side it's the it's a silver flat button
and that's the control alt delete button and you know you'll see that it's asking you if it's asking you to press control alt delete you press that and it'll bring up a login screen and one of those You should have in front of you, hopefully, one of those buttons on the screen will say A-G-N Judiciary. Does everybody see something like that?
Okay. If you press that, then it will ask you for your password. Your password is Agenda01, and you'll have to type it in
Speaker 45
9:10
with your stylus. That's even better, but 01.
Speaker 12

that everyone has logged on and, in fact, most of you have started your IRIS program. So I see you all looking at your bills. So it looks like our first try has been a success. Is everybody getting their bills pulled up? Okay. We'll try this again on Thursday. But as of right now, this has been a spectacular success. Thank you for playing.
This is why I work for the Judiciary Committee. But real briefly before we get out of here, y'all, thank you to the
staff, Patrick, and everybody else for helping out. I'm working on putting together a breakfast with the Supreme Court justices. If there's any dates that absolutely do not work for y'all and you're just adamant about being there, just let me know. I had to miss it last time. But if you'll just look at your calendars and let me know, that way we can get that scheduled. If nobody has anything else, do I hear a motion to adjourn?
