That's the first thing on the agenda today, but always look at the date. I've had about five people ask me, you know, what we're going to do on Nichols' bill today. But special orders will always appear at the top of the agenda. Just look at the date to actually find out on what date that will actually run. Also, House Bill 1151 by Representative Douglas, he has asked to set that for special order on Thursday. So without objection, we'll set House Bill 1151 for special order on Thursday, two days from today, February 7th. Also, Representative Fite has asked that we pass over House Bill 1172. So you can mark that off. Those are the first two in the agenda. Members, did I miss anything? I've had some requests here as I'm just walking down the hallway and maybe forgot to write down. Was there any other bills that a member had requested to be set for special order or passed over? Okay. Okay. That being said, we will move down through the agenda. I'm sorry, House Bill 1178 by Representative McLean. Oh, actually, I do remember he asked me to put that on the deferred list. So if we'll place that on the deferred list. House Bill 1182 by Representative Hobbs. House Bill 1186, Representative Malone, pass over. House Bill 1189, Representative Broadway. House Bill 1190 by Representative Hammer. You want to pass over that, Representative Hammer? House Bill 1197 by Representative Davis. He might run it, but I think he's in another committee right now, so he has the intent of running that soon. House Bill 1215 by Representative Westerman.

special order that's correct I think that would be in order we have some members that we're not going to be able to be here for sure and so I think in light of discussion with you it'd be the proper thing to do to try to set a special order and would would like to do that on the 12th if we

possibly could okay that takes the vote of the committee but I'll tell you what I'm want to do instead. I want to set it for a special order. I want to get it squared away, and I know there's a lot of people that have an invested interest in being here. I'm going to make a motion to table, and at a certain point, we can come back and I want to do a special order because it needs to be addressed. I don't know that it can be addressed by Tuesday, so I want to make a motion to table, which requires a majority vote of the quorum, until we come back and decide to address it again, and we can do that on special order and hopefully pick a date by the end

of the week and set that on Thursday. Well, and that requires a table motion, Mr. Chairman? Yeah. I move that

we table SB 134. That is no second required. It's a non-debatable motion. Again, to clarify, if we choose to come back and set for special order on Tuesday, we can do that, if we can get issues worked out by then. So, the motion, it's non-debatable to table. It's a majority of the quorum. Since I made the motion, I'm going to allow Vice Chair Murdoch to conduct the meeting until the motion has a resolution.

for clarification. MR. Go ahead. Is it possible to ask Senator Raepert if he is agreeable to this before we vote?

Speaker 16 5:42
No. It's non-debatable. Okay. Thank you. We're ready for the vote. All in favor of

the motion? Aye. Those opposed? No. Motion passes. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I ask that you contact me as soon as possible so that we can set the date.

Thank you. I will. Thank you. Thanks. The only remaining items are deferred. If anybody – would anybody like to pull a bill off of the deferred calendar? If not, is there any other business to come before the committee? Do you want to just – Yeah. And actually – actually, everybody pause for just a moment if you don't mind. Mr. Price brought up a good point. Jay had put some reminders out here for me, and since we will undoubtedly be having a debate here in the next few days about bills discussed today and other bills too, I just wanted to go over a few basic ground rules that are going to be pretty important. If you have anything that you – this is mostly for members of the audience – if you have anything that you're going to present in testimony, it needs to be, as in a slide or a prop or something along those lines, any sort of visual testimony, needs to be approved by the chair before you before you offer the testimony so make sure you do that make sure you sign up on the signup sheet if you do that everybody the rest is basically things we shouldn't have to go over but sometimes do be respectful of each other don't direct questions to the members members vice versa just everybody be respectful and kind of work our way through this and if you don't then I'll I've got a gavel so that those are just some reminders but So basically on the testimony that any sort of visual evidence needs to be presented for approval before. So that being said, if there's no other business to come before the committee, we'll stand in recess until Thursday, 10 a.m. Thanks.
