attempt to. So Senator Teague has a bill for the lottery winners. It's different than Representative Servillo's in that you can choose to be not disclosed but it's after two years your name would be disclosed. As he said the FOI the FOIA task doesn't love it but the press is good with it. He doesn't know where the broadcasters stand on it but public officials cannot be exempt from it. So they would have to reveal their earnings. Winnings, winnings, winnings, winnings. Thank you, Representative Jean. Winnings. That's, yeah, they earned it. So with that, I'll take questions, I guess. Not that I could probably answer them. Do we have any questions, committee? I got

questions. Oh, Lord. Representative Wardlaw, you're recognized for a question. If you look on page two of the bill, it talks about elected officials. Yeah. Can you tell me why we're treating them any differently when Powerball is handled outside the state and all those things? I mean, why is second of kin an elected official having to

disclose? He just said he thought a public official should have to disclose it. So why the second degree? something about a grandchild down to your grand I don't remember I'm not going to lie I don't remember he said but I don't remember because after two years I guess that is the two years I really don't know sir sorry we have any other questions committee no one is signed up

got the amendment that has been delivered is being passed out to members, and Representative Wardlaw is recognized to present the amendment on Senate Bill 665. Madam Chair, when the bill was written, there were some unintended consequences found by the AG's office that would have caused some of these dispensaries to have to move their locations. That was never the intent. This was an oversight looked at when we set up the enacting legislation two years ago. the mental disabilities wasn't thought of then but there's been some conflict in some areas where some dispensaries are trying to transfer so met with ag's office this morning at a long extent representative house was involved in those meetings we crafted this grandfathering clause if they already have a license on approved address meaning it's been measured from schools daycares all the things that had to be measured from we're not messing with those folks but if you want to move that license you have to comply with 1500 feet from developmental disabilities there that's the amendment and then i can explain the bill once adopted i move for adoption amendment we have a motion to adopt the amendment all those in favor say aye any opposed the motion is adopted and you're recognized to present the bill that's pretty much the bill are you closed for your bill i'm closed for my bill okay i'd make a motion do pass at the proper time and let me back up for a second no one has signed up to speak for or against this bill do we have any questions committee we've got a motion on the floor for do pass as amended all those in favor say aye any opposed motion passes the bill is passed congratulations for your patience sorry about that and i do need to announce on monday we will have another rules meeting that will meet at noon we have some proposed rule changes and I believe we've got some concurrences on the senate side that we'll have to take up so Monday at noon thank you we're adjourned
