11, you'll see they've got a growth pool position, uh, fiscal support analyst. Passing over the eliminated position, you'll see 6 reclasses. They start on law Brings admin and shared services to 102 positions. There's a piece of special language.
Section 56, it's continuing language that allows a salary grid if funds are available, authorized 48 positions. They
added 3 via the squat pool in the interim. They gave up 5 for those. You see on the first page lines, 89, and 10. It's uh two class deputy directors and an education and instruction specialist. There are 3 reclasses on line 1718, and 19. Starting on line 24 and running to the end of this, uh, their report, you'll see they're transferring in 4 positions, the ones I mentioned previously from uh admin and Shared Services and the one from state police again to provide help for appeals hearings and to, and with the uh

added 4 forensic technicians in the interim. That's from the growth pool. You'll see those lines 8 through 11. There are two reclasses, uh, medical examiner, case coordinator, and admin specialist 3, both of those are to to laboratory technicians and all those involved are GSO4s. Uh, the bottom of the page of the reports where you're going to find these. It brings a crime lab to 165 positions. That's an increase of the growth pool positions. There are 22 pieces of special language.
First is section 54, it's language regarding the medical examiner's salaries and is requested to be deleted. The second is new language that will allow the crime lab to pay recruitment expenses to potential medical examiner employees, airfare, hotel, that sort of thing. I need to know there's no sunset clause for this piece of special language. Uh, executive rec provides for the agency request for both pieces of special language, but again, the second piece does not have a sunset clause. That's all I have for this division, Mr. Chairman. In the second swap, they got a maintenance manager on line 8 and a DPS program coordinator on line 9. And in addition to those two swaps, they got 2 growth pool positions, the auto body repair technician and the public information specialist, and those are on 10 lines 10 and 12 respectively. Passing over the eliminations, you'll see 9 reclasses. They
start on line 16 of page 2 and finish the second page. Turning to the 3rd page, you'll see one position being transferred to class, that's the one I mentioned earlier, it's going to assist in appeals hearings in the law enforcement safety office. On lines 10 and 11, you'll see two SWAT pool positions. To Adam, fire marshal inspectors. Uh, passing over the eliminated, uh, positions to line 12 on the

There is a piece of special language. It's section 12 and the request is to to delete the language and uh the executive rec provides for the agency request for this piece of special language. It's section 7, continuing language says that tobacco funded positions cannot continue with non-tobacco funds and things and that this information is to be made available to personnel and uh tobacco funded positions. positions moving into dip squaw from DCFS. These were part of, uh, childcare and early childhood ed, DHS retain these positions when they moved out. And they feel like this is a better home for these positions because Disquad, uh, does the licensing and certification for some of these. They gained 6 MFG positions in the interim. If you look lines 8 through 13 on the first page, you'll see these. Uh, moving past the eliminated positions and starting on the last line of the first page, and then go to the end of the report, there are 17 reclasses. Which brings the division to
1,163 positions, that's an increase of the 6 MFGs. There are two pieces of special language, Mr. Chairman. Section 13 is continuing language that enables the division to offer special allowances to psychiatric specialist DHS Behavioral Health general physician and psychological, excuse excuse me, psychologist, supervisor. These may include allowances, uh, also for UMS personnel. Executive rep provides for agency requests for this special language. The second piece is section 15 in its continuing language,
establishes work days, hazardous duty pay and leave parameters for two specific titles at the state hospital in the exec exec rec provides for the agency requests for this piece of special language as well. It allows DYS to use up to 320 extra help positions as contingent positions in a residential services setting. The first one is on page 52, the administration Shared Services. They currently have 86 positions. They receive 3 from the growth pool, uh, lines 8 to 10 on the first page. During the interim and the executive recommendation provided for this request. Skipping through the eliminations. The agency received 15 out of family reclasses starting on page one, line 22 through page 2, the exact wreck also provided for these requests.
The net effect of these changes will increase the number of total authorized positions of 3 from 86 to 89. The agency also has a piece of special language. The Special language as the continuation of a physician pool of no more than 5 IT positions at a salary not exceeding the maximum salary for a grade IT 12. The language also requests for continuation of 10 general salaries position at a grade up to GS 15. Any growth propositions requested to continue through FY 2526 must be

Lastly, the agency is receiving those 32 positions from Office of Early Childhood, and the exec rec provides for these requests, um. The Nightf effect of the, I'm
sorry, the net effect of these changes will increase the number of authorized positions to 33, um, totaling to 346, excluding the eliminated positions and exact rec provides for these changes. sorry, lines 20 to 22. The net effect of these changes will remain at 98, again excluding those eliminated positions. They have 3 pieces of special language. The first one adds the Arkansas School for the Deaf employees. They also changed the summary information to require approval to work from the superintendent to be. able to receive payment, they must be classified as someone whose job responsibilities are less than 2080 hours a year. The, the 2nd and the 3rd pieces of special language, they are asking to remove the language.
The second one, I'm sorry, the first of these languages is to allow salary of the teachers to be adjusted to a rate of pay, and then the second one is to remove language stating that if the General Assembly provides public school districts with teacher raises, schooled for the blind shall be included. The reason for um, for the request to remove this language is in anticipation of a new pay plan. they're moving into, uh, the school for the blind. And then the second one is a, um, Dealing with a special rates of pay. And the executive re provides for the request. That's all I have for that. The first one is on page 79 of their state operations. language states to allow a maximum of 5 extra help positions when needed at a pain not to exceed those in the class in compact, and they're exempt
from a limitation of hours. The next one is on page 80. And it is to allow for a maximum of 46 extra help positions when needed, again, not to exceed pay those in the class and compact. These positions are related to specific project and are exempt from limitation of hours either by act or regulation. The exact re provides for the agency's request. Thank you, ma'am. Any questions?
