Good morning two questions one deleting language as far as a requirement of the data within three weeks following and I can't I think it's I PDS due date what what auditing procedures do you have in place that are going to a substitute for this because the way I interpreted is or was a three week deadline you're striking that out which removes the requirement for them to report within three weeks so what do you have to substitute with this language being stricken out its aids is the the fact that as an agency we now have an agreement with iPads the the data folks to draw that information ourselves rather than have the schools have to report it to us at the same time they report to that we have an agreement with that the national system to pull that information ourselves. Sir makes the this requirement necessary for us to pull into the student information system. Okay how often do you look at it because it seems to me like this at least had a mandatory three week window to look at it so how often does the department look at this to determine if there's any inappropriate actions whatever it is that you look for in the auditing process at its pulled continuously throughout the year to update that student information system now that we have the information system updated I think two years ago we we went there a a large process of updating that student information system. Because it was about fifteen twenty years old now that that it's been updated everything's put in place we had its continuously updating and drawing that information to keep us okay and then the second question is about the. A geographical. Ical needs minorities teacher scholarship program it has a a cap of two hundred thousand do you know how much has been you say historically in last year to that we've been using one hundred seventy five thousand so it's been allocated and spent over the past multiple years I can get you how far back that goes but it's been one hundred and seventy five thousand what's been budgeted and expense to. Okay is that sufficient to meet the needs to get more requests than you have appropriation to meet. What we've done is we've we budgeted that amount we sent to the schools that that's the amount that we have and so that's what sent back to us to expense that I'm not sure if there's I'm sure there are additional needs that that could be done there's additional funding but that's. That's the amount of funding that we've had to be able to support that currently I think your skewed information that say you had five hundred thousand dollars worth request but your capped out at one city five two hundred just collected some historical yes Sir on that if you don't mind please move that for you alright thank you thank you Mr. Any other questions. This is requested by the school for the blind this would allow them to carry forward any finding left over in their general revenue appropriation into a special cellphone sub find to be used FOR special maintenance renovations and future construction. They state that there's a number of aging buildings on their their campus and they would like to instead of those funds being recouped back into general revenue they like to use any leftover balances to put toward this seventeen build over time to allow them to provide maintenance for the buildings this also includes reporting language and will be included in the budget manuals and each biennium. But this seems like a member unless you're to discussions about the conditions of the building over there and I'm wondering why there would even be any money to carry Ford if the buildings are in as bad a shape as they are that they would be spending the money so that they wouldn't have any money left over at the end of the year to carry forward is it about structure or can you help me understand please so a yes you're correct the right now both and we have similar language that you see and on the that side as well they do spend a lot most of their budget there's no I don't think that any care for most years but one of things that we have seen the start to start planning long term for a lot of the building needs that we have because they are a lot of old buildings over there we've been into a contract with a group called spark fund who is going to do an assessment right now and it's more of a subscription based model to help with some the H. FAQ issues that they have but in going through and looking at these buildings there's not really like a traditional school would have a building fund set up and since this is a state agency there's never been able to pass a military get an increase they don't have that ability to to set up a building fund so what we request is this language to start creating that building fund I don't anticipate this will be a lot of money in it at first because like said they are having a student on their knees they have right now but as we continue to work with them and try to fit find efficiencies within their operations were hoping that over time we can start building up some savings there so we do have some big projects come through that will have sufficient funds to help at least offset most the cost.
