You make sure that you signed. I think we only have one bill on the agenda today. Representative Tashi you you ready to run the H. B. twelve thirty five. I am Mr you may proceed thank you Sir I'd like laws contact blood called up to the to the table with me State police is here today. Measure out is for the record. others want you to know that back when I was in a trooper that's a look that I look like that to. So was was but when you were trooper was that when they still had the little bubble gum machine on top was a better not go. Believe it or not my first call the bubbles got pictures of it but I just want everybody to know that's how you start out. But the bad news for the the bad news for education this is how you end up yes thank you for the top manager would you introduce yourself to committee. A major Jason there with the Arkansas state police okay represent Tosh you may proceed. Thank you may share a god colleagues is good to be before you this morning this bill here is a bill that the from the Arkansas state police and. I'm pretty pretty familiar with this bill because back when I was still working the now wait a safety division asked that so wanted to gather data for their reporting purposes which we understood so the accident report that we filled out at that time did not have enough information on it for the for motorcycles when they were involved in the accident so to satisfy the national safety in the data that they needed we started doing a motorcycle supplemental report. And the now that the state police is involved and now they have what they call I believe it's called each check. And the if he crashed eighty crash okay we'll a crash but anyways they just sit there and and they do the accident report right there to be Hickel and that new report email has popped up places audit for the motorcycle data and so what that what you're doing now because there's a law that says they would do the supplemental report there actually duplicating their work so what this bill would do when eliminate data duplication and just to let all that information that's all the original on the original report that they do own only creation of to survive should no longer would need the motorcycle supplemental report is necessary. By do you have anything to add to that. Not I give it to cover the well off if my twenty two years with the Arkansas state police have never even seen motorcycle supplement report all the information required of it is already included in our typical standard accident report. Okay thank you. Okay revision closed any any questions from committee. Representantes you're recognized thank you Committee I'm close with the bill we showed a good vote you want to make a motion for a new password motion representantes do pass is there any discussion from committee all in favor say aye. All opposed same like sign saying none could graduate your bill passes thank you Mr thank you Committee a committee this is been a quite a different year for transportation those of you that have seniority been here awhile usually this committee is swamped and so far we've only had one controversial bill that we had lots and lots of discussion on so as of right now I think we're going to cut our committee meetings that to one time a week until our agenda picks up we've got some on the agenda I think some may be moved to referred because they need a little work on on but I don't think we'll be meeting Thursday I'll try to give you a heads up on that right now it looks like we'll meet next Tuesday if anything changes on that I'll let you know but if you have any concerns any issues about the any transportation bills please please come and share them with the with man any any good ideas you got we'll we're we're willing to listen to that so and Leicester's.
