Thank you members this is an easy one back in the nineties the federal highway safety commission requested and and the state police did a supplemental motorcycle report for data collection purposes. And since then the the state police have have created a correct. Accident report called eat crash it has that information for data collection and this this bill is simply simply eliminates that Gould reporting. Possibility so. The. If you wanna clarify any further do you like to add something their major I've been with the Arkansas state police for twenty three years and I've never seen before that's that's referenced in the statute so it's just clean that up changing the shell bill may okay. All hearing Arkansas DFA Senator Missy Irvin District eighteen thank you Mr chairman of the committee so this bill obviously was brought to me by my constituents and Searcy County but I think it's supported by a lot of people around the state of Arkansas who want to support the buffalo river and so with the license plate bill does is follow what we have put in place to identify one at that I think first into another I'm which allowed for a spot and vacancy for for them to be able to utilize to create this new license plate so it does follow that procedure and we were just discussing this bill will need and amendments that DFJ would like for me to put it on the house in which I'm we're fine with and that's why he's here at the table and I'll let him speak to that because there needs to be a deposit made by the organization so that we are we're not spending the money in the effort if right if if that commitment stop there so I'll let him speak to that point which I've actually just emails the drafter but I'm just trying to get the bills moving so just said the committee is aware you have been. Thank you Mr chair of the members of the committee and also thank you senator Ervin apologize for the getting with senator been so so close to that when this bill was planned to be run but we did want to make sure that we were being fair to the other organizations and in part in the prior session that that we did required in the in the bill language or ask that the General Assembly approved that those up front costs for the the design which generally ranging about the five thousand dollar range that our vendor for the plates will be requiring so we've we would not just be proposing to and in the language for the amendment to adopt that same language on the Freemasons bill that came from the two thousand nineteen session just to make sure that That if the. The upfront costs are accounted for you know so we fully expect that when we have the new plates that they are going to be utilized and there with those costs can get recovered in in future years but certainly those up front costs make sales or account for it because they would be the the responsibility of DFA to pay them. One question do you have is there a group with that Senator Irvin that could could do that with that buffalo river. Yes the Senate said buffalo river conservation a committee and I just we were just on the phone with them because we just had this conversation before the committee and we got on the phone with him and he said yep just let me know where to send the check so they are totally fine with that and that's why I wanted to get him on the phone with at Mr Garrick so that they knew you know up front that that's what would be placing that language into the bill so they understood that so they are going to work with an artist I think that's a point of clarification for anybody listening or watching is they are going to work within a local artist there and Gilbert Arkansas also Gilbert is little town located on the buffalo river and I think that's really wonderful appropriate so work without artistic at the art work but then it has to be digitized into Arkansas cats for the vendors to be able to create and set up the the license plate and as I pointed out that to them is that market CAD software actually exist in our east programs so that might be an opportunity down the road for the FNA to work with our east programs where the students can actually then digitize that art work and help us on these types of issues and projects because that Arkansas for is part of the east lab so I just that's just an added added thing because I think it's would be smart and beneficial that would save everybody money just a matter process if it's okay with the committee that I mean if you got that language you can bring it in the committee and we go to the doctor they can be engrossed in you know it can be voted on next week on our floor diseases what to the other end I mean it's just really but whatever the committee wants to do I'm just trying to get the bill you know done and we just had this conversation about five minutes before the committee. That is not as a matter process in but it is just as fast if we do that if we do that language at an early date infirmity on Tuesday if it if that's okay with with you Senator Irvin yep as long all day I don't know how often you all met we'll meet used eleven so okay you're dealing groschen on you know they have engrossed by Wednesday and hopefully write it on the floor by Thursday I would think that would be the.
