sixteen. Thirty four thank you Mr Senator Lance Eads district seven this is actually from the situation counties and it's a repeal of a section of code that was used to from the twenty right and from the nineteen twenties that was put in place back when the use before they would send out a tax bills by mail when they actually had to deliver him to townships and and so she's repealing this section code it's obsolete and information's not used at all anymore.
Our. Eckstine thirty four. Few seconds just to look at the bill committee. The questions Mr is also a L. A. collector that would be as happy to join me at the table if needed. Any any questions from committee.
Anyone the audience will speak for against the bill. Saying none.
We have a On the Charteris revocation for all poor yes Sir yeah everybody got that. Okay thank you I was unaware that we've got this building specifically deal with that all port. Revocation specifically this was born out of my time working in audit the what brought my attention to this matter long story short and I'm not going to read the entire time line to you as you guys know it takes years
of resources and time to ever get to a point where a municipality charter has to be revoked and This is been going on about eight months to the attorney general's offices had. The charge is already in law. To file those pleadings wants audit has been through its work and to date nothing we're getting no contact and no reason and no action has been taken by the attorney general's office so this bill basically just provides a little incentive for
the attorney general's office to very simply do their job. And interestingly enough even though this bill's been filed a wall and run in the House Committee and on the floor I still have no contact nor does anyone in audit to my knowledge from the attorney general's office. So I would appreciate a good vote and I would be happy to answer any questions. President will mark this is been going on for. More than eight or nine I mean
this has been going on for several years with city vault all port correct correct correct but I'd like to make it clear this is not this bill doesn't specifically this is not related specifically to all Portis they've just brought it right cases brought it to our attention of of. Are any questions from committee. Anyone anyone in the room that would like to speak for against the bill.
Senate you close for your bill yes Sir for more. Are we have a motion from a centrist Sullivan do pass in the second from Senator Flippo. All in discussion. All those in favor. All opposed. Resolutions merchant Walmart thank you Mr committee I appreciate it. Anyone else in the room has a. Anyone else as a bill runs.
Seeing none.
