Represent when you're recognized to present your resolution all right thank you Mr chair with your permission could I bring up Traci Steele to join me absolutely. Thank you committee I have a resolution that is a very close and personal to both for Senator steel myself others also serves on the north rock school board and who has a very close ties to the resolution we're doing to honor the north rock high school basketball team for their very recent state championship his son plays on that team and and so we are here to commemorate the eleventh overall state championship for the north rock high school boys team the fifth under coach Johnny rice Johnny rice went to north rock high school with me back in the day and and Traci Steele also a graduate of north little rock northeast as well for approval yet just just a little bit just a little bit before so would you like to share you follow this team and their their rise through in there the challenges they had and how they overcame just a it's marking sure that please thank you so much Mister chairman Mister vice chairman and committee as the honor to to be here to see some of my former colleagues and and I just couldn't think of a better occasion them to have a resolution honoring us an outstanding young men we've been very fortunate North Little Rock not only in athletics but also in academics and not sending a lot of young people to further their education and we're just honored that you all have taken the time to to do this resolution I think on tomorrow representative we will have a these young men and the coach on the floor and it's just is truly honored SO excited they don't know what to do they're so excited so hopefully that will ask for a good vote for this resolution. With the chance to meet so by some outstanding young man and I do have a request yeah if I can get signatures of the members here for one I can take back to the district I would be I would be very honest absolutely okay that sounds great you know I just say this while North Little Rock we do we talk a lot about the athletic success what that does is it translates into academic success and ultimately life success and will joking call ourselves Titletown sometimes just to kind of of things up but but what these young men and young women are learning or the skills that will help them succeed in whatever it is that they do in life and they are able to take things like teamwork and and and a preparation hard work and see the results of setting goals and achieving those goals and and they were able to do that and that sets a pattern for a very successful life so the success on the athletic field the does translate into success in other facets of life as well so with that we're open to any questions.
