Jones was an intrepid in prominent little rock attorney that was hired to defend twelve black men after the arrest in the Elaine massacre that happened sorry if Phillips County nineteen nineteen Sorry I'm nervous He he was hired by the N. double ACP to defend these twelve me and there were accused of murder at this time basically it's just recognizes contribution. Opportunity was passed for people who have communication issues that may be Alzheimer's disease autism spectrum disorders down syndrome et cetera so it gives them the opportunity to have a designation placed on their ID card or driver's license and the opportunity for D. cal to place on their license plates this will facilitate communication with police officers EMTs firefighters I just in case they're not aware of of the issues this person hasn't communicating so make that communication easier so the reason that I want to run this resolution is just to bring awareness to it we can take that back to our districts I have a friend back home her daughter is a teenager she's about start driving and so she got with me few weeks ago and said Hey can we do this how Texas has this bill was like yeah that's a good idea let's look at that had no idea we already had it she had no idea that we already had it so of you know I think a lot of the things that we do not hear good things and they kind of get overshadowed by some of the the things that draw more headlines and so we just need to take this back to our districts that people know that this is available and I'm there's people on all of our districts and this will help so I would appreciate a good vote on this any questions from committee.
