All right Mister chair of the committee members this is A fairly short bill so somebody brought this to my attention that no raffle ticket shall be sold through the mail or through the internet email fax telephone or any other electronic means in Arkansas and so as I was looking at that and and talking to people I I that really didn't seem to match the experience I was having and so after this was brought to my attention my twelve year old child said Hey that I'm selling raffle tickets at school would you like to buy one and I said we will sure whatever you but whatever you do don't put that on Facebook don't text your grandparents don't and for sure don't send anybody an email and ask them you know you have to do it in in person and so I filed a bill. And the gaming industry had some concerns there's a distinction between advertising and selling and so I work with the gaming industry to clarify what I was trying to do in accomplishing that was just to make it clear that you know you could advertise you know a raffle if you're one the that charitable entity doing the raffle for an unpaid volunteer that if you advertise that you were not in violation of Arkansas law so that said be happy to do my best to answer any questions.
