Is. Pulled that down. thank would do Senate bill two O. nine representative hawk are you going to present that would you. Your identify yourself for the record and your authorized president representive RJ hawk District eighty one thank you Mr chair and committee members this is Senate bill two O. nine it's an act to amend the law regarding liquefied petroleum gas what this bill does if the balance of what what liquefied petroleum gas fund exceeds five hundred thousand dollars the gas board shall have the discretion to dispense all the inspections and registration fees voting for this bill was brought to us by the department of energy and if the committee has any questions I'd like to bring up US secretary Corey from the department of energy. Mr core if you would to set the table and identify yourself for the record. Thank you good morning Shane Cory secretary of the department of energy and environment okay members does anyone have any questions for either the man. You're recognized awful easy. We try well I mean I thought isn't this what him gets face time that's all all right. The I. see a microphone going down two of them yeah I just I figured maybe would do something that. Representative bro you're recognized for a question. Tell me what what what we'll do is if you get up close your microphone at all here what would this bill do once it passed sure so the the current legislation allows the board actually waive these fees but the way the current legislation is written is if they vote to do it they cannot undo that vote until the threshold balance falls in the five hundred thousand dollars so this came to us from the LP gas board director files or and basically it was they've had a request from the association to be able to do that they've been hesitant to do that because once you voted to do it under the current law you can't undo it so this would allow the board to do it on a fiscal year basis each fiscal year to have that authority to to waive those fees if they so choose. Okay thank. Representative Beatty did you have a question. Yes. Is there any other questions in by a question there's no one signed up to speak for against it so are you ready to close I'm closed appreciate a good vote do pass. Okay we have a do pass up all in favor. Any opposed. Congratulations your bill is passed. Okay now we have the Senate bill two forty six Is Senator stone here to present the bill or a representative. Okay saying none we'll pass over that it will bring that back next week Saying nothing else before the committee I guess we'll call this one done. We.
