Not thank you Mr. And next we have the director your news report just have to items for consideration for this committee the first is normally that this committee will recommend that the July meeting be either moved or canceled due to annual conferences there are no conferences this year that conflict with the July meeting however the NCSL. Hello the NCSL annual meeting is the week of the August ale C. meeting so I don't know if this committee wants to cancel it or move it back a week to August twenty one through twenty fifth. Thank you Mr we the. Co chair and I have met with the department of education and. Consider rules in volume of rules that are going to come and they have asked us that we'd be available for meeting in August so and unless something changes we're going to make the recommendation tomorrow so everyone has a plan a plan going forward that the fourth week of August will be council week are to take up regular business in addition to the rules from the department of ed so just wanna make sure everybody's aware we would not move the meeting or have the meeting if it was unnecessary we are being told from the executive branch it is necessary at the moment I have a meeting in August. So I I make a motion to refer to. Referred to council tomorrow that we go ahead and schedule a meeting for the fourth week of August. Okay poor ticket motion do you have some. E. R. architectural engineering firm was selected so this next step is requesting authorization to enter into a contract with them for architectural engineering services in the amount of approximately three hundred and no more than three hundred ninety four thousand dollars of a they need to do surveys in depth research and this is not approval to begin the secured walkway project it's just approval to enter into the contract to determine what that's going to look like and what the final cost would be. Senator Irvin you're recognized thank you Mr chair I move that the BLR director is authorized to enter an architectural and engineering services services agreement with W. E. R. architects related to a secure walkway between the state capitol and the mac building in the approximate amount of three hundred ninety four thousand dollars.
