Representative Stephanie Malone Unverified 8:29
Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Members Amendment 86 provided for fiscal sessions, and it provided for appropriation bills only unless we had a two-thirds vote. Well, the Revenue Stabilization Bill is a necessary part of the budget process, and I think this is a bill that's going to need to be introduced every fiscal session. So what this resolution is will authorize us to file a bill to amend the Revenue Stabilization Act. If you've looked at it and you see all the lines through, you see the existing revenue stabilization law, all of that will be marked through because we amend it. But when we file the amendment, you'll have the schedule on your desk three days before we vote on it. That's also our rule, so you'll have a chance to see those numbers. But this is simply to authorize us to file the revenue stabilization bill, the amendment to the current law. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Otherwise, I'd appreciate a good vote. Thank you. Members, you've

First of all, joint budget will meet at 9 o'clock in the morning. But the second thing, and we passed a lot of bills out of joint budget today that will be on the floor tomorrow. Our plan is to batch those bills in groups of 25. So what I would encourage you to do is when we get the budget calendar out later today, take that home with you. You look over that. We're going to give plenty of time for any questions. And, of course, any bills that you would like removed from a batch to vote on separately, we will do that. But instead of going through 100-and-something bills, we're going to batch them in groups of 25. But, again, if you'll familiarize yourself with that, if we need to pull a bill out to vote on it separately, you be prepared to notify us of that tomorrow, and we will gladly do that. But I just wanted to give you a heads-up on what our plan is for tomorrow on handling those bills. Thank you. Are there any questions for Representative Malik?
