Gracious God, in the prophet Isaiah, in the 50th chapter, we read two strong images. One that says that God will sustain the weary with the word. The other word is that he wakens us every morning with a new teaching. Today, Lord, we ask for that word, and we ask for that strength. We ask, Lord, that you give us what we need today to make good decisions. We ask the blessing on this house, and ask that you'd help us to do your will. We pray this in your strong name. Amen.
