for coming. I never thought I'd live to see the day since I was on policy that we'd have this many people have interest in this, but I would appreciate a good debate. Thank you.

Okay, we have one item on the agenda, and that's the consideration and review of the contract between BLR and APA. Senator English, Representative Cozart, are you all ready to present? And you're

recognized. Thank you, Mr. Chair. As you know, I'm representing Bruce Cozart, Chair of House Education. And I'd just like to keep this plain and simple, I guess. The Education Committee met Monday and voted to accept the contract of APA. And we'd like to move that on to policy. And we have been going through this process for a little while. This has been a long, drawn out thing. And we'd kind of like to move on and get this into work so we can actually use this on the next go around of adequacy. So that's kind of where we're at, and be glad to take questions.

I have a motion. I move approval of the revised education adequacy consulting services contract between BLR and APA Consulting that was recommended by the House and Senate Education Committees on December 16th, 2019. Okay, we'll have a motion and

may I say something here? Sure. I am really, really disappointed in this. I have been in this legislature for 10 years. I'm not sure that any contract with the revenue and tax committee, with public health, with any of these committees, would have undergone the kind of thing that we've seen here. And I am so, I'm really disappointed in this crowd. How many of you were even on the education committee? How many of you even have sat through and listened to the kinds of things we're talking about? I can't tell you how very disappointed I am in this whole process. Thank you, Senator. Committee is adjourned.

Yes, I know, but, you know, I'm not going to say what she said, but I will say, ask, I should have asked a while ago, what was the count on the vote in the Education Committee on the Senate and the House, people that listen to everything? Y'all need to look at that. Thank you. You
