and this is a very very simple proposition we passed out of the out of this body and out of the house 1822 we sent that over as amended we had a vote out of the House of 88 to nothing, so we passed it unanimously that day on April 5th.
This merely changes the wording in 1822 to be compatible with the requirements of the Auto Alliance, Walmart, GM, and the railroads. When we had originally done 1822, our language was contradictory to what was in 1651, which became Act 468 on March 14th concerning the autonomous vehicles. So we did not want to have anything that overlapped language or changed
anything in what was already law. So all the parties got together. They conferenced. They came up with accepting the wording as suggested by the Auto Alliance and the proviso that the railroads emergency clause was added in there this merely adds that the dot and the railroads will be notified when autonomous vehicles are going to start their program and not for every run just to let them know they're going to be in the area it's a safety measure you would ask that on your own property and so that's a it's a very simple thing all parties concurred we ran it
through senate transportation on wednesday it passed unanimously passed through the senate and now it is back for approval by this body. It's very straightforward, no financial impact, and no known opposition. Any questions from committee? Seeing none,

discussion on the motion? All in favor say aye. Any opposed? Same like sign. Hearing none. Congratulations. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Thank you, committee. Any other business to come before the committee today? Let me tell you, say, I'm sorry I missed Thursday. Had some unforeseen circumstances take place, but I'm just thankful everything went well. But let me tell you, it's been a great committee to work with this year,
DF&A, State Police, everyone that worked with us. It's been a good year. I appreciate all of your input. All the questions were good, your cooperation. So thank you. It's been a privilege for me to be the chair. If we don't meet again, once again, I want to thank Blake and Tracy for their work. They've done a great job. We appreciate that. And my vice chair stepped in whenever we needed him to. It's been easy to work with. Once again, I appreciate all of you. And if there's no other business, we stand adjourned.
