may proceed yes sir good morning my name is Jeff McKinney I'm superintendent Stuttgart school district I'd like to thank you for taking the time to hear our request the current camera system at Stuttgart high school is outdated and increasingly difficult to maintain over time the system has been pieced together using a variety of camera models leading to inconsistencies in performance, reliability, and functionality. As technology continues to advance, it has become evident that a comprehensive system
replacement is necessary to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff. In addition, several areas across the campus remain unmonitored, creating critical blind spots that pose significant safety concerns. In March of 2025, the district issued a RFP for cameras and access control systems at our new athletic facilities, Fleming Network and Security Services was awarded the contract and successfully completed the project. The district has been very pleased with the quality of their work as well as their responsiveness and reliability of their ongoing support.
To ensure consistency, reliability and seamless integration across the security systems, the district has elected to continue working with Fleming for Stuttgart High School camera system replacement project. In the request, I ask for approval of the contracted amount of $123,640. I would like to ask to extend that amount of approval to $150,000 to cover any unforeseen additions that may require for completion of the project. Finally, timing is critical for approval and execution of the contract to occur soon in order to allow adequate time for summer installation.
Completing the project during the 2026 fiscal year will allow the district to use budgeted funds and not carry over to FY27. For these reasons, the Stuttgart School District believes the TIPS process is the most practical and responsible way to complete these projects. I thank you for your consideration.
