Good afternoon. I'm Mary Franklin, director of the division of County operations at DHS. Janet Man, DHS. Oh, OK, thank you. Um, thank you for, um, letting us meet today. Um, Mary can go over the details, but the emergency rule before you is for the Marshalese and to obtain their SNAP benefits. It is in, um, result resulting from federal legislation in March. We've just now received the guidance from FNS and we have been asked repeatedly by some of the
marshalees for the need of this. So we bring it to you as emergency rule to have it implemented. Any questions from committee meetings? Seeing no questions without objection, proposed emergency rule is reviewed and approved, and the review and approval shall be effective upon adjournment of ALC meeting on Friday, August 23, 2020.
