the roll call on the wrong side and we assume that he really wanted one now, he removes it, can we have a roll call?
And when they see the word whole, they think that's complete. I wonder it really bothers me that we're going to walk down a farmer's market or wherever and somebody's going to say oh this is whole milk man that's got to be good so I you know it's a play
question. Just real quick, and it was back to what my comment was while ago about whole and the definition and all. And, you know, the public, my question to you, don't you think the public, when they see the word raw, they think that something needs to be done to it?
milk? Is there any difference? The wording changes in the bill, and I'm wondering
correct. It covers all bases. I think it's a great bill. Thank you all for bringing it,
Representative, mine is more of a comment than a question. But it looks like in looking at the bill, you've covered all bases. If funding becomes available through grants, it
Representative McCrary, you're recognized. Announcement. Bill Beavis at the Country Caucus is going to be at his lake house at 6 o'clock tonight. It's a beautiful night. Y'all come to District 14 and eat
before it's adopted, where does it go? It'll come back before y'all. It comes to the Agriculture Committee.
you realize how scared all the farmers are of a water plan because somehow how it may affect agriculture, and I assume that's what you're referring to.
didn't bring that with me – It says that agriculture will be a top priority, along with drinking water. Well,
Young's shop, the Natural Resources Commission. Okay. Now, I know it's run out of Randy, and I know we appropriated, what, $2 to $4 million to get this program for two years of reports, It supports to come back in 2014 or 2015. Okay. Let me – how well is agriculture represented on the –
going to be devastating. Devastating. Representative McCreary. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Secretary Calhoun, you mentioned the state water plan. Yes, sir. My first question is, who is the current chairman of the state water plan?
And anyhow, it's vitally important, agriculture is, to our state. And so, anyhow, better hush.
We had a farm supply store for about 15 years, and I've managed and been involved in farming along with other things. i just would like to say that the good thing that i see about this committee is in just listening to it uh everyone in here except charlotte and her mules uh has a real interest in agriculture i can tell that what's that well i don't know how to raise mules so i guess i better back up uh and
you. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Walz McCreary from Lone Oak. District 14 is a new district. It's expanded. It's still primarily all row crop, a little bit of cattle on the north end, but I have part of Pulaski, Jefferson, Arkansas, Prairie, and the farming area of Lone Oak County. My interest in agriculture is that's number one, and that comes from I've been involved in farming all my life.
Representative McCreary, you recognize. Announcement, transportation will meet Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at Big Mac
a question again. The session starts at 1030. Yes, 1030. I think Barnett wanted the meeting to be at 1030, so we just need to cancel. And the Transportation Committee, if we can reschedule it with the department heads that were going to come, we'll try to have it at 9 in the morning. And the analyst will try to get you the information whether we're going to have a meeting or postpone it.
Representative McCrary, you're recognized for an announcement. The Transportation Committee meets for its orientation at 10.30 tomorrow in Big Mac B. And at 10 o'clock in the Governor's conference room, the Transportation Committee is to be there.
the bill. Thank you, Mr. Speaker. This bill simply changes some language.
If the judge does not want to deal with it, he does not have to. Also, it states that it's not a criminal offense, and it shall not be recorded as such. All records shall be permanently expunged. Law enforcement and the court will not be burdened. They are already dealing with the minor on another offense. Currently, 40 of our states have provisions for minor procession, and I'll answer any questions.
